The way I saw it on the current version of the menu online (mind you I live on the West Coast and I don't live in Georgia), the Double Coronary Bypass burger now consists of; Two patty melt sandwiches (consisting of four slices of Texas toast and two 4 ounce sirloin patties) acting as a bun with an 8 ounce patty, 12 slices of American cheese, 2 fried eggs, 12 bacon strips, grilled onions, dinner relish, and mayonnaise. Served with 10 ounces of fries and tators topped with cheesy goo and bacon bits. 4,541 calories. *YIKES.* *_Would you want to eat that?_* Definitely a step-up above the previous version of the burger itself as seen in that older episode of _Man VS Food_ . Sure changed up the burger's composition. Twice the number of bacon strips, one fried egg less, three times the American cheese slices, the grilled cheese sandwiches are now two patty melt sandwiches, each with a 4 ounce patty, and they threw in grilled onions, dinner relish, and mayonnaise.

Still the best burger I've ever had. Double bypass burger. Must visit if you're in Atlanta imo. Hello from Pennsylvania 🦅

I've been waiting for 5 years to go to the vortex 16 years old was when I saw the sign for 18 I turned 18 then it went up to 21 now 21 and I can finally go and eat there...I'm excited. :D

I was visiting Atlanta over the weekend from Philly and ate here. It was seriously without a doubt the best burger I've ever eaten. Awesome atmosphere, the nicest waitresses. One of the best means I've ever had.

I've been twice on my way to Alabama and I'm trying to take down the super coronary bypass burger. The cheesy goo sauce is terrific. I plan on going 7/1/2014 to try one more time.

Went there the other day. Amazing. Had a wait of 45 minutes to be seated. If you ever go, be prepared to wait. Its always packed for a tiny little place. Also be prepared to show ID. Security is always at the door checking IDs. I had the rebel outlaw burger. The 1 inch burger with pulled pork, 4 slices of bacon, 3 slices of cheddar cheese and a spicy BBQ sauce. If you're ever in Atlanta, the vortex is a must.

I've been here once but I completely punked out and got a regular burger :-/ I think I need to go again and do it right!
